“Charming & Comfortable Inn Features two eateries ; Fergusson Pub & Scozia Italian Restaurant both offering delicious menu selections. Highly recommend the George Fergusson Room with its comfortable mattress & pillows. It’s own bathroom with double shower & in room key tub . Staff were genuinely warm & friendly . Kudos to Claire & Sandy for juggling checks in & outs while seating & serving.”

“We had a terrible experience with un profesional staff of the motel.We booked two rooms as it was a group of 4 trip. But they did double booking of the one of our rooms and in last minute asked me to call Expedia and cancel the booking as they did not have a room.. IF I did it I would not get refund as the booking was no refúndable. “Impossible to justify this flop house as a motel!!! Staff need hotelier training. The owner is turning rooms into monthly cheap rents for "locals". There is no breakfast provided which is strange considering there is a dining room - and the "owners" run a fish and chip restaurant at this location. It was a lovely old quaint hotel close to a beach. At least it used to be clean. Bedding was well used and not spotless - no mattress cover in one case. It's finished as a motel.”

“If you are traveling for history and historic beauty this is the place, but like a very old Jaguar, even when restored is going to be a bit...unreliable. The hot water, once you turned on all the taps to get it, lasted three minutes...if you are old or disabled, the stairs are a challenge, the AC struggles to keep the room cool and this is when we are not in a heat wave...no refrigerator to keep your food cool, either. It is a beautiful hotel, but not a practical place...like an old Jaguar.”
