“This isn't like staying at any regular hotel. Didn't see staff at all, in our 5 day stay it was like we had the entire place to ourselves. This was our 2nd time there and we were very pleased with the room and the quiet atmosphere. Very quaint inn and worth a few inconveniences (stairs, no room or maid service) for the unique experience. The rooms are elegant and very cozy. “Overall the stay was great. Staff is wonderful and the restaurant bar is our favorite stop for drinks before heading off to plays. We have used this property before and the location can not be beaten. My only issue is there was a hold for the full stay amount plus an additional $200 for room charges. Then on check out we were charged the room rate amount. It has now been 7+ days and the fairly large hold is still pending. It is frustrating to have to review and confirm the amount is still not...

“If you want old school charm...this is the place to go. It's a beautiful setting overlooking the river in Bracebridge. There are beautiful seating areas and the rooms all have balconies that look over the river. It's quiet, serene, peaceful. Although they don't have cable, they do have Netflix!
