“Whenever i travel in ontario i make it a habit to visit Stevenson Inn and Spa.
This beautiful B&B is tucked away from plain site, out in the country filled with warmth, renewal, peace and quiet.
Owner even made special deluxe smoothies along with the continental breakfast that is included with each stay.

“I was disappointed because the pictures on the website showed a nice clean updated room with a glass enclosed shower. The room I was given was old a rundown, hadn't seen a paintbrush in at least a decade, and had a basic tub in the bathroom. When I asked was told that there were no other room available. They should actually show you the room your getting or update all the rooms. Sadly the inside looks like a dump just like the outside. Next time I'll spend $20 more and go to the Best Western”

“I called the night before to be assured that i could check in late as I would be traveling from out of the country and was told it would not be a problem. Upon arrival, there was a sign that said staff would not be there after 11pm with a number to call. I called the number about 10 times and no one picked up. I could see my room key sitting on the desk so i grabbed it at which point someone came out to greet me, the maintenance man. There was a slight language barrier which i don't fault him……

“Everything was great. Room was spacious and comfortable. Kitchenette was fully stocked with real dishes/glassware and cutlery. Breakfast buffet was standard but certainly lots of choices. The lid of the steamer for the hash brown patties was left open (as per the sign) but that meant they were cold when I ate them. Also on our floor you could get snacks from a vending machine but had to go to a different floor for a drink vending machine. I never saw ice. ”
