“Malta is an exotic place for me. The hotel is located very near the airport, with about 15 minutes of walk. A taxi ride would be only 5 minutes. But directions are not clear and almost all the buildings were closed and looked all the same so it was rather difficult to find the place. The young attendant at the front desk was kind and polite. But his duty hours were between 6am and 3pm only. That means any one arriving after 3pm needs to follow the clues left on the door to open the gate and……

“I rarely write reviews, but after what I experienced at South 32 Hotel, I feel a responsibility to warn other travellers. From the moment I checked in, my room's air conditioning was broken, blowing hot air in the middle of hot weather. I reported it to reception on day one. Nothing happened. Day two, same story, plus a power outage that left me without electricity through the night. By day three, I was told the central air is set to blow heat. No fix. No apology. No urgency whatsoever. “What an excellent boutique hotel! We arrived very late and although the front desk staff departs at 9pm, we were able to enter without issue with the provided doorcode. Our room had everything we needed and the bed was amazing. The morning breakfast had plenty to offer and was perfect after a day of travel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.”

“Sauber.Zimmer geräumig.Balkon mit Meerblick.Personal sehr freundlich. Aber: direkt vor dem Hotel Baustelle/Straßenbauarbeiten. Bei geöffneter Balkontür Lärm unerträglich.Presslufthammer, Bagger , Betonmischmaschine. Stromgenerator etc. , von morgens bis abends inklusive Samstag und Sonntag! Ich habe die Hotelmamanagerin darauf angesprochen und gesagt, dass ich erwartet hätte, rechtzeitig über diesen Umstand informiert zu werden.Sie entgegnete mir , im Hotel selbst gebe es keine Bauarbeiten.Die……

“It was late when we arrived.We got a taxi from the airport for 14. Alice had kindly bought us bread, cheese, ham, butter and water so that we didn't have to go looking for the 24hr supermarket when we arrived. We loved the location looking onto the bay. It was on a main road but not too noisy.The area we stayed in (around Birzebbuga) wasn't touristy but you could walk 5-10mins to some nice restaurants and bars or prepare food in the apartment, which was well equipped. ”

“Just stayed for one night as our flight had a very late arrival. The hotel was beyond our expectations in every respect. A small but very well run establishment. Rooms well equipped, very clean and shower was excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.”

“1. No lift for 2nd floor units, narrow stairs to carry heavy luggage. 2. Too narrow doors to move freely in and out of rooms 3. First two nights Airconditioning was controlled by the owner and it was put to off or not working, suffered in heat after heated email/text , they switched it ON. 4. Breakfast has very specific timings per room , need to visit only in that 30 min window for breakfast. 5. Near to Airport, and near by general shops and bustop. I will not recommend this place to anyone,……

“Bella camera luminosa, spaziosa, arredo nuovo! Tutti estremamente cordiali! La posizione è ideale perché ci sono supermercati, ristoranti, caffetterie e più di una fermata per usufruire dei mezzi pubblici: tuttavia è possibile raggiungere La Valletta anche con una bella passeggiata a piedi! Consiglio!!”
