“The clean & neat cottage is as described. Not located on the water, but a nice quiet location that was very relaxing for us. We would enjoy staying there again.A couple minor housekeeping issues. I suggest adding some hand towels as we used face cloths to wipe hands in the bathroom & kitchen instead of using large bath towels. A fresh dish cloth in addition to a questionable sponge for washing dishes would be appreciated, and an extra dish towel to dry dishes. I found no facial tissues. Some……

“Great little off the beaten path stopover”

“My close friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. There were enough beds for our group and the facilities ensured we enjoyed home comforts while also living up to promises of quiet and solitude in nature. We had long chats by the fire by night and hiked in the surrounding Backus conservation area by day. We will definitely be back in the future! ”

“We enjoyed the location of this home. It was so clean and loved the seasonal decor additions. Lots of small welcoming details. The host was so easy to communicate with. We went wine tasting while staying here, we love the town it is located. We finished our trip with a walk at the park down the street. We would definitely stay here again to enjoy the area with our children.”

“The perfect spot for our family with young kids. We were able to stop in for naps, wash laundry - detergent was provided - so we could pack less, and cook meals instead of having to eat out with babies. Located a quick walk from the go station so catching the train into Toronto was super quick and easy. We ended up with a large rental vehicle so parking in the underground parkade was pretty tight but we were able to fit. Overall it was clean and quiet and we had a great time!”

“Check in process could have been smoother. Wrong number listed resulting in some legwork to get the front door code, which was supposed to be provided 48hrs prior to check-in. No candles allowed and this is not listed in the house rules letter. A little annoyed with that as candles are pretty harmless. Room was very clean. Parking is free which is great. Site is close to a lot of things. We would stay here again. This specific room is meant (and perfect) for a couple.”
