“Great staff.”

“The room was clean and spacious, but the layout was not practical. There was a table and three chairs that took up too much space, leaving very little room to move around comfortably. The room was also noisy at night. There was noise coming from the kitchen area, and I believe the windows and doors were not properly insulated or soundproof. Traffic noise from the road outside was also quite noticeable. There were no blinds on the windows, so the room became very bright early in the morning.……

“Great hotel with a fantastic view! Everything you need is right there including beautiful paths to explore the small lake nearby & the river. BP’s is connected to it & there is a number of fast food options in the same parking lot as well as a grocery store. Pool, outdoor hot tub & lounge area with pool chairs was an awesome addition. Nice spacious rooms, good breakfast & excellent staff. We would highly recommend the Best Western Plus in Fernie!”

“The posting said restaurant and lounge, it looks like both have been closed down for some time. The fire detector was actually hanging from the ceiling and didn’t look like it worked. There was a dirty cleaning cloth left hanging in the shower and there was 2 partially used rolls of toilet paper for 4 adults. We had the air conditioner running for more than 6 hours before the room actually started to cool down. The tv was just leaned up against the wall and didn’t work. The building is old……

“The staff was great, very clean and quiet room. Wishing the entire unit had AC tho instead of just the bedroom, also did not use the deck as the chairs were very dirty and there was a pile of metal on stacked chairs. No idea what it was for, looked discarded. Otherwise we had a lovely stay and would come again.”
