“Room floor was not clean in both rooms.”

“A gem of a place. A boutique hotel minus the pretentiousness. Lovely staff, gorgeous grounds, clean and well decorated. The AC had to do overtime as it was a warm couple of days but it kept the room warm enough. The continental breakfast is generous and can be eaten indoors or outdoors. The location is perfect. Close to the piazza with excellent restaurants within a minute of walking. The Larix is our favorite place in Kimberley.”

“Very basic and overpriced. The hotel is located right next to the railway, two trains each night and very loud. Asked for towels to be replaced after the first night, they were not. Asked after the second night, they were then replaced. No housekeeping, we stayed three nights.”

“This hotel was grossly overpriced for the room. The washroom/shower was dirty. Paint was chipping and made a terrible impression of the room. The hottub was out of service with no I would never recommend this hotel. I stayed in a hotel in Fernie a few days later for the same price that was 100000% nicer, cleaner and friendlier.”
