Salt Life at Sapphire Beach

Salt Life at Sapphire Beach, on St Thomas is a beautiful studio condo at the gated Sapphire Village, sitting on the second floor of the building and looking over the turquoise waters of Sapphire Marina and Sapphire Beach. The views looking out over the Caribbean Sea while you enjoy your morning coffee or your evening drinks are spectacular. We love watching the sail boats take off for their evening cruises. Salt Life is located on the East End of St. Thomas, where all of the action is! When you first pull into the driveway of the resort on top of the hill, your breathe will be taken away at the view of the turquoise waters, and islands in the distance. Both the night life of Red Hook ($2.00 Safari Cab ride away), or the Sapphire Beach Marina and all it's island tours and water sports, are steps away. There are two pools on the property to cool off, one of which has Slice,VI restaurant and bar located nearby. If you want a fine dining experience, or listen to an evening band hop over to Red Hook, a 2 minute drive.Salt Life is perfectly suited for a couple or single traveler. We have set it up with everything you would need for your stay. A 50" smart TV with a Salt Life Netflix profile, Hulu, and other apps via Roku streaming device and your own private WIFI, and a fully stocked kitchen for some quick meals. We also provide 2 beach chairs, beach towels, 2 snorkel 🤿 masks, and a cooler for your trip to the beach 🏝.

This property is amazing! There are so many options for excursions right out the front door...literally, the marina is just a 2 minute walk for snorkeling, parasailing, sunset cruises. All of the tenants and visitors are very welcoming! The size of the condo was just perfect for my husband and I and the view is spectacular!!! Awesome communication! Will be back for sure!!

Great location in a beautiful area!
My husband and I had a great time exploring beaches in this area. The condo was great! Very clean, and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed, including beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and beach towels. Our only suggestion would be, unless you like a very soft mattress, please replace the mattress.

Great vacation!
Everything was just as pictured on the website; Sapphire Beach is a 5 minute walk from the unit. My husband even said "great job in picking this out" Décor just as pictured; loved it! Lovely neighbors that greeted us. A lot of people have moved from the States and have lived in this location for a long time which says a lot. We enjoyed sitting on the "deck" watching the boats come in and out. Total relaxation; beautiful beaches! The only thing and not about the unit but you have to take a cab or drive to everywhere. You cannot walk on the roads; too dangerous. Took the ferry to St John's and went to Trunk Bay for the day. Everything you needed was there; snorkeling equipment, food, drinks, chair rentals. Perfect. Enjoyed the vacation and would come back again! Thank you John for letting us rent your unit! Dawn and Steve Tarzia

Home away from home
The condo was better than described, felt like Home the minute we walked in the door. The property was amazing and the staff was very helpful and offered great places to dine on the island. When we return we will book this condo again.

This condo is adorable!
The condo was adorable! The condo owner was very easy to communicate with and quickly answered any questions we had. The condo's beach chairs came in handy at all of the beaches we traveled to. Our one and only issue was the items stored right outside the condo balcony. This was in no way the owner's fault, but the property manager's fault. The broken down construction equipment shouldn't be stored where tenants have to view it. Otherwise, the view of the marina was delightful and we enjoyed watching the fishing boats setting out in the mornings and returning in the evenings. The property had a tent set up in the back where the items could have been stored out of sight, but the tent was mostly empty. We'll definitely be back, though, and hopefully those items will be gone.

Salt Life Condo- Sapphire Beach
This was our 2nd trip to St. Thomas, though we’ve been there and had itinerary planned before our trip, the owner of the condo also provides us with overwhelming information that made us more knowledgeable about our travels on the Island. The island has come a long way since the hurricane and me and my wife truly enjoyed our stay, my favorite part of the trip was traveling to Trunk Bay, St. John, Trunk Bay is mentioned to be the 2nd to 3rd most beautiful beach in the world, I can say from its pristine water and magnificent scenery it’s definitely the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen.

Salt Life is truly a little slice of paradise
Salt Life has everything you need; the condo is beautiful. John was very accommodating and quick to answer questions. Sapphire Beach is in the perfect location on the east end of St Thomas. The most beautiful beach on the island, close to Red Hook and right on the marina where you can catch day charters to the BVIs. The new beach bar on Sapphire Beach is a ton of fun and has some great bar food and drinks and live music! Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will definitely be back!

This unit was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen is perfect for 1-2 people to prepare simple meals. I enjoyed the view of the marina in the mornings while I had my coffee.....that was easily one of the main highlights of the week! The TV (which I hardly watched....why would you?) is hooked up to Roku, Hulu and Netflix. I, as an older person, hadn't used these services, so I had difficulty at first. John was very accessible and helpful in getting me up and watching quickly. This unit is located 100 yards from the on-site pub, Slice. The owners, Sean and Kat, along with the bartenders Eric and Suzie, are very friendly and helpful. The locals also help get you acclimated to the ins and outs of the island.....very helpful. The food there is much higher quality than what you'd expect from at this type of location. Suzie also has a very heavy pour! The beach is a short walk and wasn't crowded even at the beginning of the busy season. I read much talk about getting around on the island prior to my arrival. I will say, that I had a car reserved, but there was a problem at the airport, and I did not get one. The taxi ride was $47 for two people and 3 bags to the condo. After that, we used the local safaris to get around. I had read a lot of negative comments about them, but I will tell you, we had nothing but great experiences using them. After seeing how people drive there, and all the damage to cars (probably 90% of cars have some sort of damage), I'm glad I did not get a car. Overall, I spent much less than I would have if I had rented a car, and I did not have any navigational issues! So, my recommendation, use safaris when you can, and taxis when you have to! As a side note, the island is still recovering from the heavy hit it took from huricaine Irma, so there is construction going on all over the complex. The workers are kind and courtious, but they're working, so you will experience some sound from this. Overall, John was a great host and answered all texts quickly and professionally. I will definitely look to rent one of his units the next time I visit St. Thomas.....which will be sooner than later.
