“Our family of four ages 10 and up spend an easy 5 days at the Gate House. The host is super responsive - replenishing items right away (dish towels, flame lighter, extra candles, grill propane). The nature surrounding us was so peaceful to wake to and return to at night. The indoors is low lit (as pictured)...don't expect to read at night - but you will sleep well. No extra chores to do on check out - what a treat!”

“Property was as described; however we noticed ants upon arrival in the bathroom. We contacted owner who immediately brought some traps. Then on the morning of our departure the ants were all over the kitchen. No open food was left out. Drowned as many as I could in the sink but they were everywhere!”

The apartment is very close to the grounds and just a few minutes drive to get back over to take care of the horses, etc. We will be staying there again when we come back in September. NOTE: while the reserved parking is great.....if you're driving a big truck that you've used to haul your horses over, it's a tight squeeze....but does work!”
