Courtyard with patio and garden furniture. Parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are five steps in the courtyard.!. This charming semi-detached cottage is set in the delightful coastal village of Sandhead. It enjoys an enviable location within a stone’s throw of the beautiful sandy beach which, in low tide stretches for three miles. At high tide small boats can be launched at both the beach and Sandhead Bay and fishing can be enjoyed locally. The cottage has been completely renovated and offers beautiful holiday accommodation with solid wood flooring in the lounge and good facilities in the bathrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dining area with extending dining table for six. This quiet and peaceful corner of south west Scotland boasts rugged coastlines and secluded sandy beaches which benefit from the warmth of the passing Gulf stream. There are many beautiful gardens to explore, including the world renowned Logan Botanical Gardens. Along with Sandhead there are many other pretty little seaside villages and ports to visit. The RSPB Scotland Mull of Galloway Nature Reserve where thousands of seabirds nest in the cliff face during the spring and summer is well worth a visit. There is sure to be something for everyone in this beautiful area. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

Excellent cottage with plenty of space and everything you could wish for equipment wise. Furnished to a very high standard. Views from cottage were lovely. The welcome pack was lovely, and appreciated. Walking distance from a very good hotel which was lovely for food, the Tigh Na Mara. Lovely Beach just across from the cottage which was fantastic for early morning and evening walks - to walk off the excess of holiday food. We would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone.

Our return visit was proof that we loved the cottage. Really well positioned for visiting attractions on the Mull of Galloway and Stranraer area, as well as Whithorn. Karen was great and made sure we wanted for nothing. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The cottage was very comfortable and exceptionally clean, well equipped and spacious. The view was so restful. I feel another visit coming on........
