Spacious Stratton Mountain Home - Perfect for families!

"My boyfriend and I (plus our dog!) planned a weekend getaway to Stratton for HarvestFest, and this property turned out to be the perfect place to stay! The location was super convenient—less than 10 minutes to Stratton Mountain, walking distance to the quaint Winhall Market, and just a short drive to the Red Fox, a great dinner spot.The lodge was WAY more spacious than we needed and could easily fit a couple of families. It also has a great mudroom for all your ski gear. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!Could it be updated? Sure—but to me, that was all part of its country charm. The owners were super communicative and responsive. We’re already considering returning. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!"
Stratton Shuttle Access! Vermont Mountain Hideaway

"Six women went for a friend reunion and stayed three nights at this wonderful clean home. The house was very spacious and had all the modern conveniences but was also so cosy and charming with the big wood fireplace and open kitchen dining room. The kitchen was very well stocked with quality pots and pans and serving trays and bowls and more than one could ask for. We did appreciate many items because we ate in every evening since most of the restaurants haven’t actually opened yet for ski season. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable and the downstairs bathrooms were simply amazing especially the one master ensuite that had heated floors and toilet seat with multiple functions. We enjoyed playing games but never got a chance to play darts or use the upstairs lounge area with its game console…We made use of the pickleball courts which were a short walk away and a few of us used the hot tub and the sauna which were great. It was a great place to get together and relax and enjoy each other’s company with a bit of luxury. The Stratton ski village is a 5 minute drive up the mountain and we enjoyed that as well.Leslie the owner was super responsive to any issues and promptly sent her lovely cleaning person to bring us more wood and a can opener that somehow was misplaced.It was obvious that she cared about our comfort and wanted us to have the best experience possible. It is a beautiful area to walk and hike and this place was perfect.Don’t hesitate to rent it if you are looking to stay in the region. There are also many birds and we had a deer that came on the property."

"My wife and I were looking for a place to relax in the woods with a usable indoor fireplace and this was exactly what we needed. Everything about the host’s description was exactly as presented. We did not use the hot tub but it was inviting. The care in preparing the property was obvious throughout and it is a very well maintained cabin. Everything was very comfortable for us as a couple but certainly room for at least a couple more. Would not hesitate to visit this property again. And special thanks to Britt for the very open communication throughout our stay!"

"The house was beautiful. It was easy to find and the host gave very helpful directions for entering the driveway/property. It was the perfect size for my husband, 2 kids, and I plus we were very happy to find some a nice home that was dog friendly. We like to cook most meals at the house when we are away and this home had plenty of everything needed. The only furniture that might have been helpful was a coffee table, but we brough the little patio table inside and that worked perfectly. The rooms were nice, no dressers but plenty of hangers, and space above to lay folded clothes. The only negative thing I can say is that when we arrived, we found an empty container of the spa cleaner. The main attraction for our mini vacation was the hot tub and we had planned to be in it quite a bit. I messaged the host and he told me not to worry about it, but by the next to last day the water was pretty filthy and we didn’t enjoy the hot tub. But it was very enjoyable up until then. Otherwise it was a very relaxing experience at the house, and we were close to all of the nearby towns, spending the most time in Manchester. The house was also near a great supermarket, and we enjoyed dinner at The New American Grille, and had the absolute best breakfast at Maple Leaf Diner. We had a great stay, highly recommend this house."

Cozy Ski-In/Ski-Out Condo on Magic Mountain

"This location was exactly what we were looking for in a ski-in-ski-out condo at Magic Mountain. Our host provided good instructions and was very responsive, and we liked the very modern keypad entry system on the condo door. The beds were very comfortable with good quality linens and towels provided, and the electronics were in good condition and very helpful for our tweens at night after skiing :) We loved the overall vibe of this building, where there is a large common area with comfortable chairs and even a lending library with books and toys. We also loved being able to walk to the black line tavern to eat or bring back takeout. The food there is delicious, the service is great, and they sometimes have live music or comedy. On to the ski mechanics, we were very pleased with the ski locker facilities. We loved being able to walk downstairs in our socks to boot up and head right outside to the quad or ski lodge. At the end of the day, we could ski right back to the lockers to take off our boots - no snow or slush in the condo!We also loved the ski trail and lift setup at Magic. Intermediate skiers could ride up the same lifts together with advanced skiers, split at the top to choose terrain appropriate for their skill level, and then meet at the bottom to ride the lift again. Would definitely go back and rent this room again!"
