Top Tarr Steps Hotel Reviews
Tarr Farm Inn
"Tucked away in beautiful location, 50m from Tarr steps. Lovely, helpful staff and gorgeous food (breakfast &evening meal). Lovely spacious room and amenities. One small suggestion for improvement would be nicer pillows"
Royal Oak Inn
"The location was great for us as we’d travelled for several hours to see the partial eclipse, planet alignment and milky way ‘show’ in August 2026 and this accommodation was just a few miles away from where we need. There was a warm, friendly welcome and our room was ready for us when we arrived. Our room was quite warm as it was in the middle of a heatwave, although the lovely lady who checked us in swopped our room to the coolest available. There was coffee and tea in the room and both the bedroom and the bathroom were very clean, looking as if they had been recently decorated. We ate in the bar in the evening and the food was lovely and well priced. There was a fairly wide choice for breakfast, including ‘Full English’ and ‘Smashed Avocado with poached Eggs’. All yummy! This pub is in a quiet village, with the clip clip of horses from time to time. Very calming and peaceful. It has a car park and so any vehicles are safely off the road. We would recommend and would be happy to return."
Sheepfold Cottage Dulverton
"Perfect peace and quiet was what we needed and what we got bonus of extra loo was great if both getting ready to go out or coming back from day out all "bursting to go". there are good walks in a lovely area of somerset with deer and ponies sheep and conies rabbits and birds about if you keep your eyes peeled ,sheep and cattle too. A lovely place to be local town has lots of small trader shops and variety and friendly people to deal with. all places seem to be very dog friendly ,they seem to be welcome everywhere. Very nice area and many people come to the area time after time."
Valley Cottage
"Lovely cottage in a peaceful village location within easy walking distance if a pub with food, shop and cafe. The biscuits provided were delicious."
5 bedroom accommodation in Winsford
"The house was perfect for our large group. The location is perfect for walking, exploring and relaxing. Everyone enjoyed our time at Royal Oak Farm and Georgia was a very helpful host."
