The beach is beautiful and such a nice walk from the hotel." Very quick to respond. The cottage is very clean. Internet was fast. Beautiful quiet area. Good to arrive to Coffee & tea and biscuits and milk in the fridge, cleaning products and bin bags all the basics. The central heating was on when I arrived late at night so the cottage was cosy and warm. Plenty of hot water. The kitchen and dining area is very light and spacious with great views of countryside. The cottage is next to a working farm so lots of sheep and cows. I was visiting friends and family ten minutes walk away. You do need to have a car when staying here, there is nothing but beautiful scenery and peace and quiet. Shops and restaurants are not within walking distance. But nothing is too far away and there is never a traffic jam on Islay and always something to see !
