The full depth of the lake is 120 feet but the trees within the edges provide an eerie reminder of how volatile this area can be. There are several pullouts along the lake that give info as well as a visitor center at the West end of the lake. It is one of the more creepy places that I've been to. There are tons of bleached snags poking out of the water which in the evening become a popular nesting place for ravens.
