You can hire a local taxi driver in Suva to take you around and show you the sights. I paid maybe $20 USD and had an english speaking driver/guide for several hours.

Voted the worlds best dive by some of the most renowned divers around the world, the Fiji Shark Dive was by far the best dive we have done! We saw between 40 and 60 bull sharks and one of them even hit Mads on his head with its tail :-O

Though it's a bit pricey, you should definitely check it out if you're ever around Fiji!
