“Room was nice, clean and tidy, ideal location for visiting the Castle and Abby. Food was delicious and local beers on tap.Excellent service in the bar and restaurant. Unfortunately Breakfast was unavailable and no soaps in the shower. . Could have been wonderful but let down by lack of thought. Would go bac”

“A beautiful remote property, situated in the countryside. 10 minutes walk to a lovely, award winning pub with stunning food and friendly staff. 15-20 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket. The owners of this property, who live next door, were very welcoming and friendly. They've thought of everything, including a welcome pack of milk, bread and butter. There were a few other thoughtful treats but i wont spoil the surprise. Cleanliness of the cottage is definitely a 10/10. Cant fault……

“Stayed at the lodge and surprisingly roomy. Bright and well laid out accommodation. Good en suite and great views from the windows. All round, very comfortable and would definitely stay here again.”

“This is a delightful cottage for 1 or 2 people. Sofas and bed are comfortable; shower room stylish with a great sized shower. And with lovely underfloor heating toes were toastie all weekend. I was able to entertain friends in a relaxed informal environment which was great.”

“Hotel was warm and bed comfy, managed to get parking spot negatives: No toilet roll left in room shower has no thermostat and scoulding - unable to use 2 sugars for whole weekend = 1 cup plug socket hidden by bed , only 1 other double socket otherside of room I paid cheap out of season , would never consider paying anymore , certainly not Grand ”
