“Beautifully decorated, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts were very responsive to questions and sending someone when the outdoor shower didn’t function. The most gorgeous view of any beach house we have ever stayed in. Teen boys enjoyed fishing and caught sea bass and a sting ray right from the yard. Very short walk to the beach. Pool and hot tub were clean and not crowded either. We stayed during the lead up to the 4th of July holiday and we were so pleased with how……

“This property was perfect for a quick stay at the beach. We usually rent a house for the week & are used to having to bring linens, towels, & household necessities, but everything was supplied. The best part was the convenience of the beach access & the privacy. This section of beach was not crowded at all & there is more shoreline on this end of the island. Communication was great & our questions were answered in a timely manner by property management &/or owner.”

“I really like the location, the house don't get me wrong was fine, just outdated on appearance, I feel like they could do so much more with the place, to make it more inviting.something to make guests feel happy when they wake up, just decor we was drab . Location is perfect outside shower with hot water perfect, area to wash off beach chairs and umbrella great, view is great too. We had a good vacation.”

One particular episode to note: the kitchen sink faucet broke during our stay and the Carolina Retreats personnel were very helpful finding a plumber on short notice to replace it. Everyone was gracious and efficient and we want to note our appreciation. ”
