There are more better places at the same value

Disappointing stay—nothing like the online impression Island Seas Resort looked much better online than it did in person. Cockroaches and poor cleanliness were major concerns, and the services fell well short of what I expected from a resort. There was no dining available during my stay. The only option was a coffee shop open for a couple of hours, offering coffee and a muffin. There was no concierge, and I ended up renting a car to get groceries and drive elsewhere for meals. I arrived around 11 a.m. and couldn’t access my room until 4 p.m. While that may be the standard check-in time, it added to the frustration when the property appeared nearly empty. I chose this resort expecting convenient amenities and a comfortable stay. That was not my experience, and I would not stay here again.
