We had a brief stay at the Tollgate Inn. After arriving on a warm sunny day, it was great to sit outside with the locals and enjoy a refreshing drink. We had an evening meal and breakfast, both were very good. The staff were very attentive and friendly despite being very busy, this is a popular place. Clean room but a bit small.

One of the nicest beds I’ve slept in, outside of a Premier Inn! Lovely pub, and the staff were very helpful. Max especially stood out as a true professional and a credit to the team. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay again, mainly because the road noise was very loud due to the lack of secondary double glazing and the leaded windows. I was woken several times by cars and motorbikes seemingly attempting to achieve their personal best 0–60 mph! The Wi-Fi also didn’t quite reach the room, which made it difficult to get some work done on my laptop.

The friendliest place ever, with a true inn experience, rooms above the pub, small but with an ensuite! Centrally located for trips to Bath, Bradford on Avon, even only 1 hour from Wales. Bed was comfortable, shower was wonderful. Mostly the people made us feel like family, so lovely.
