“The chalet was a glorified tool shed, but the pictures and description can kind of tell you that. It was peaceful outside by the little stream. The bed was as hard as a rock and it was bright in the morning because of no curtains. We ate dinner there, it was ok but we didn’t expect much. The staff were nice but not open the next day.”

“We stayed in the main unit, a lovely and cozy cabin. The manager left notes about the weather and instructions on using everything in the cabin. The place had everything one could dream of, for a cabin in the woods. It was very comfortable and quiet, and we immensely enjoyed our stay. We originally booked one of the small units. The weather was not good. It was snowing a lot, and the manager was very considerate and changed us to the main unit. We are very grateful for this change. ”

“Truly remote cabin—full kitchen and bath. Very cute and cozy but with modern amenities. Large deck and grill and two functioning fireplaces. Free parking and a delicious very local restaurant-bar across the street. The place is movie scene perfect for a hallmark Christmas. The down sides being if you are tall the bathtub will require you to bend down if taller than 5’10”. While I fully expect rustic there were a lot of easy to dust cobwebs. Be very aware there is approximately 1 place to eat and……

“My husband and I stayed here for a quite get away. The roads are very curvy and it is very secluded, but it is close to the Sequoia National Park which we visited also. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will reserve again if we are in that area!!! Five stars all the way!!”

“This was a fun way to stay close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. You have to understand you are staying in an RV, not a hotel room. With that understood, it was wonderful. Plenty of room for two of us. We could store groceries to pack our lunch, spend the day hiking and come back to make a simple dinner. The host is lovely, attentive to any needs or questions, but lets you be as independent as you like. He provided thoughtful touches like Keurig coffee pods and fresh eggs. His……

“The house and yard are very cute and the location is great. The layout is interesting (go through one bedroom to get to another) but it’s an old house and was still charming. The house was clean and comfortable. Would be a great place in the warner season where you could really enjoy the outside spaces. That said, it was the poorest stocked house we’ve rented. No washcloths, no hand towels in the bathrooms, no hand soap (just a couple motel style shampoo bottles), no oven mitts to get hot things……

“Great B&B! Very clean, very nice. Great breakfasts. Connie is a great hostess; we enjoyed talking with her and the other guests at breakfast. She is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a couple of great tips for places to see. My sister joined us for one night -- she was not on the original reservation -- Connie accomodated her in our room and for breakfast at no extra cost. Highly recommend this place.”

“The campground wonderful, great location. The tent was lovely, clean, comfortable bed, stocked with all necessary amenities. The campground shower was great, good hot water and and they were located right next our site. Bathroom nearby, with clean sinks to wash up items.”
