“We had a wonderful stay at Victorian House. Alex was a fabulous host and nothing was too much trouble. They accommodated us being vegan and gluten free at breakfast and oat milk in the room. “We LOVED our stay here! Our room was the “Grand Room, 1 King Bed, Balcony, Garden View” in the newer building and the attention to detail was exceptional. Loved the large comfy bed, our cozy robes, the deep bathtub and accompanying luxury toiletries and bath soaking salts. The WiFi was fast and the staff members were fantastic. It was a close walk into town and close to everything you could want to explore in the Lakes District. Very cool how the hotel provides wellies (Hunter Boots) for guests……

“Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired.
