“This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all……

“This is a lovely property, so well equipped, so many items which we have usually had to take wit us or buy on arrival are provided. The weather when we were there was quite wet for some of the time and also chilly but the cottage was always warm. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Add to that the lovely welcome gift awaiting us was most generous. The countryside in the area is beautiful, lovely views from the property and good walks close by. We also tried out the Kingâ€™s Head……

“A very comfortable apartment with spacious accommodation and well equipped kitchen plus extras such laundry facilities. The lounge and dining area is good. The bedroom is large with very comfortable bed and everything needed. The bathroom is beautifully done with large walk in shower. The only observation I would make for the benefit of others is that the two sets of stairs might be tricky for some. Booking was easy and customer service excellent with friendly and helpful staff.”

“Booked this property along with the upstairs property for a party of 10 ladies! Was very impressed with the close proximity to the town centre, ideal for a short stroll into town and to the lake! The property had everything required, with attention to detail for even the small things like tin opener, grater etc! Everything was immaculate and very cosy! We particularly loved the outdoor patio area with a perfect sun spot late into the evening! We would 100% recommend this property!”

“Spacious property, within walking distance of town. Did report that bins were overflowing outside with black bags piled high both on the floor and on top of the bins on two occasions (appeared bins had not been cleared for weeks). Some areas of 5he property were a little dusty otherwise clean. The kitchen is rather small for a property of its size making it a bit difficult to have more than one person using it at a time, and bath a bit tight to get in/out of. Beds comfy.”

“The automated booking process and informational emails was excellent. The flat itself is on the 2nd floor of the building so not for anyone with severe mobility issues. A few signs of ageing with broken rendering outside and signs of damp in the kitchen window. Small and neat kitchen, small lounge, modern bathroom, and small bedroom. Only 1 toilet roll supplied which could be improved. The bedroom had wardrobes either side of the bed which are a bit restrictive, would have preferred bedside……
