“This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all……

“A very comfortable apartment with spacious accommodation and well equipped kitchen plus extras such laundry facilities. The lounge and dining area is good. The bedroom is large with very comfortable bed and everything needed. The bathroom is beautifully done with large walk in shower. The only observation I would make for the benefit of others is that the two sets of stairs might be tricky for some. Booking was easy and customer service excellent with friendly and helpful staff.”

“The flat provided everything we wanted for a very comfortable 4 night stay. It’s worth noting the exterior, accessed by a couple of flights of steps, belies the modern, spacious interior. The flat is well equipped throughout. A starter kitchen pack meant we didn’t need to pack any additional items and the hot drinks pack enabled us to have a cuppa on arrival. “Spacious property, within walking distance of town. Did report that bins were overflowing outside with black bags piled high both on the floor and on top of the bins on two occasions (appeared bins had not been cleared for weeks). Some areas of 5he property were a little dusty otherwise clean. The kitchen is rather small for a property of its size making it a bit difficult to have more than one person using it at a time, and bath a bit tight to get in/out of. Beds comfy.”
