“Perfect cottage and location for what we wanted to do in the Lake District”

“Lovely property, very convenient for Windermere area. It was handy that all three bedrooms have their own ensuite. It was lacking a little in kitchen utensils if you wanted to properly self-cater. There were some odd little items missing like hand soap in the bathrooms and only one toilet roll in each room, but otherwise clean tidy. It was particularly hot when we were there, so a fan or two would have helped. The door closers could do with adjusting - a couple of the doors slammed loudly if……

“This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all……

“A unique and beautiful boathouse. Stunning scenery to enjoy from the veranda. Property delivered to an exceptional standard. Fabulous location for the lake, local walks, villages, pubs, and restaurants. We booked for a special occasion, and certainly were not disappointed. Thank you ❤️”
