"We stayed in a double queen room at Boxwood Lodge. Upon arrival staff was friendly and helpful. First room TV wasn’t working properly, changed room for us. Room was spacious and looked like it was somewhat updated, beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. Bathroom is in need of some updating. Worked fine but needs a facelift. Grounds are satisfactory. Only problem was we were on the first floor of the two story queen building. People in room above were very noisy until 1am....

"It is in an easy location to find. While it is on a state hwy, it is out of the way of heavy traffic. It provided all we needed for our stay. The only 'not so nice' thing was that the counter-top for the sink had a crack in it that ran the entire width of the top. It was located such that when the faucet was on, water could go into the crack and then to the floor."

"Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!"
