I was forced to get a hotel near van intl airport when my flight from victoria got cancelled. Paying over 300$ for 1 night (4pm-4am) was painful enough. The concierge was nice. BUT THE ROOM. As an ex F.A I have seen a million hotel rooms. This has to be in the bottom 2. (I encourage you to review my photos) WREAKED of smoke. Like an old casino that never replaced the carpet after the laws changed. So gross. BLOOD on the pillow case.. what looked like blood on the door lock (clearly not even wiped) Stains all over the duvet. The seal on the tub was gone so the bottom was just, dirt. The plumbing is probably from what this building used to be its so old. Literally not 1 surface had been wiped. Skirt of the bed covered in god knows what. Curtains were open, air off so the room was stifling. I had to go to front desk and ask for disinfectant wipes. Slept with the pillow in a plastic dry cleaning bag. It was just disgusting plain & simple. Should have splurged and stayed somewhere else. The pics are clearly from when this was 1st built. Shuttle driver didnt even offer to put my bag in the van or take it out. DONT BE FOOLED. Stay somewhere else!!!!!
