10/10 Excellent
"We loved this property! Perfect location, great views. The house has 3 king master suites which is great for a multi-family trip. The house has a wonderful layout which creates so much space. The back deck was perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails while cooking dinner. This house has a full size Blackstone griddle which we used every day for breakfast and dinner. The boat dock has a covered bar and we also put up our easy up for some extra shade while relaxing at the boathouse as it gets full afternoon sun. We took large floats and tied up for hours of floating and fun for the kids. We were able to dock boats on either side of the boathouse. The kids used the paddle boards and kayaks. Just can’t say enough about how much we loved this house and its proximity to the shore. Wish our week wasn’t already over!"

NEW! Main lake Family-Friendly retreat with private dock, game room, & fire pit!

10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay at this lake house and would definitely return! Overall, everything went very well, and we had no concerns during our visit. There were a few minor issues left behind by the previous renters, but the hosts were incredibly responsive and resolved them so quickly, they did not impact our stay or our comfort at all. The hosts were great to communicate with and very attentive when we reached out. We also really appreciated the furniture and cleanliness. It was comfortable, well-maintained, and noticeably nicer than some of the older, worn furniture we’ve experienced at other lake rentals. The location was another big plus. It was convenient to the lake while still being close to local restaurants, a brewery, and some shopping. The rental was definitely as advertised and looks JUST like the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book this property again!"

Executive Mansion at Lake Gaston sleeps 40 and has HEATED POOL.

10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time at the Executive Mansion with our family of 24 people. The house was very spacious and the amenities were great. Having a pool was a definite plus and it got a lot of use. The kitchen had just about everything we could need and made meal prep very easy. We rented the boat and went fishing almost every day. We caught more fish on this trip than any other vacations we have been on, and we didn’t even have to travel that far from the house. We had a few minor issues, but the home owner was very responsive in addressing them. When you spend as much as we did on a vacation property you expect everything to be perfect. However, it’s a rental property, so it’s going to show some signs of wear and tear. Did any of these issues detract from our overall experience? Not really, so I’m not going to dive into the specifics. Would we go back? Our group likes to try different places each time, but if we were to go back to Lake Gaston, the Executive Mansion would definitely be on the list."

"Carried Away way more than met our expectation. Since the early '80's we have had family reunions and this was the best. The house, location and lake made the difference. Members from 8 to 88 had the time of their lives. The Bardone Family"

"Our host were very attentive and a pure pleasure to work with. Jeanette and Dennis are great people and they make you feel at home. We love to sit on the deck in the morning and drink our coffee looking at the water. It is so relaxing and very peaceful. Check in and check out you couldn't ask for it to be any easier. We enjoyed our stay."

"Home was clean and inviting. Host was very accommodating and communicated through every step of the process. Dennis was very easy to reach with any questions. We also rented his pontoon boat for our group of 9 which worked out well. The community pool also added to the fun. We all had a very relaxing stay."

Sunrise Cottage on Lake Gaston is great for families and fishermen alike!

10/10 Excellent
"Had an amazing trip! Check in was very easy and the provided cinnamon rolls were amazing. No complaints at all, the screened in porch was great and there was some firewood provided so we could enjoy a fire right by the river. We rented a boat from the Eaton Ferry Marina and it was about a 30 minute trip to get back. Make sure you look at a map of the lake because there are some spots that are deceivingly shallow, especially closer to the house."
