The Summit

This beautiful log cabin, with gorgeous pine flooring is the star of the area with modern upgrades. Relax outside on the porch, in the jacuzzi, or around the fire pit with a glass of complementary wine. Pike's Peak has a fully stocked kitchen to prepare full meals for the family. This beautifully cabin is located in a picturesque setting, perfect for enjoying a quiet evening on the front porch, or grilling on the charcoal grill. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Nestled in the Appalachian Mountain Range. Rustic Star sits in a quiet area between Pine Mountain and Warm Springs. An hour and a half from Downtown Atlanta, 45 mins from Columbus, Ga (home of Ft. Moore) and Auburn, AL.

Perfect getaway!
The description was accurate. The cabin was set up well with everything we would have needed plus some. The location is convenient to many of the things we did during our visit. The hiking was great. The FDR Little White House was pretty neat. The Whistling Pig and Iron Horse were our two favorite restaurants. We also enjoyed the horseback ride that we arranged through the FDR park. Very quiet location that was nice break from the crazy of everyday living. Thanks for the opportunity to visit and share your cabin. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay for all ages! Would recommend for family.
The property itself was beautiful. Even had an outdoor sitting area for roasting marshmallows, are just sitting by the fire. The hosts were both very communicative and friendly. Inside the cabin, everything was very clean. Also supplied us with everything we needed. Everything super amazing only thing was the hot tub was very nice but didn’t super hot.

Had a Wonderful stay here. Cabin was very clean, beds comfy and the towels were soft. It was a great place to relax, especially in the hot tub! If I was ever in the area I’d stay again

Cozy and spacious
The location is perfect and the cabin was beautiful. The washer and dryer was a treat and the indoor and outdoor tubs were the sure winner for our stay. Loved the wood burning fireplace but the flute needed some assistance to stay fully open but my husband created a temporary fix and we enjoyed the fires immensely. Checkin and checkout was a breeze. Felt like home. Loved the Keurig too and we did bring pods just in case. The shopping in Pine Mountain and Warm Springs we found some treasures and we did go to the Animal Safari and it was exciting. So glad we made the trip.

Happy New Year
We rented this cabin and another one to bring in the new year with our family. We stayed in this cabin with the grandkids. We were very comfortable. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and the grandkids loved the bunk bed in the loft. The cabin's location was perfect in relation to Pine Mountain/Callaway Gardens.

The area around the cabin is excellent for history buffs, hikers and old people. Something for everyone. Sitting by the fire could not have been more relaxing, and then more relaxing by getting in hot tub

Amazing experience!
I loved the location and all the amenities. I wanted to get out and do some hiking and this was the perfect location as the trails were so close. They pictures are exactly what you are getting with no hidden surprises. It was the perfect weekend cabin! (Though I would love to stay a week). I will deff be coming back. The only recommendation I would add is to store the firewood under the deck to keep it dry if case it rained like it did during our stay and had I been staying longer - I would have just gone out to buy some. The hosts were very communicative too which I really appreciated!

A very peaceful get away
The cabin was perfect in my opinion. My wife took exception with the lack of lighting in the kitchen, but other than that she was pleased with the cabin, which is saying something. The cabin is very spacious, almost to much for the two of us and our dog. It rained most of the trip so we spent less time on the golf course and more time in the hot tub than originally planned, but it was a relaxing five days. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to family.

Perfect all the way around
Absolutely beautiful cabin. We came up for a long weekend as a family before our son goes to college. I am so glad we found this cabin. It’s on a semi-private road and it is not crammed next to other cabins. You have some privacy between the other cabins. The hot tub was a nice feature. There was great WiFi connections and stream for the TV. The location could not be better. You’re right around the corner from the state park and you’re like barely 15 minutes away from Pine Mountain. You couldn’t pick a better place to stay. The hosts are wonderful. They answered all of my questions, checked on us during our stay, and the coolest thing was there was a little welcoming sign and a bottle of wine from the local winery. We can’t wait to book our next stay this fall.

Fantastic
The 4 of us felt right at home. All the amenities were there. Including wood for the fireplace which we sat around the first 3 nights .Thanks for the wine too. My dog camped on the back porch most of the time. We visited Callaway Gardens. Warm Springs Winery. The Little White House and the Springs., took a short hike in the FDR campground and Downtown shops were fun too

Quiet relaxing nights, fun days
The cabin is beautiful clean and quiet. The night sky is incredible and morning coffee on the porch is amazing. There are many local activities that we indulged in. We went on a local drive thru Safari, we visited FDRs home, we visited the butterfly exhibit at the Callaway resort, we watched sunrise and sunsets from on top of Dowdell’s Knob. It’s a trip worth making again. Thank you!
