Outside our door was a broken down fridge, the chair in room was lopsided. Bathroom was clean but tub was so slippery I couldn’t take shower. The room was clean, bed way too hard. Both of us woke up with sore backs.

This is an older motel, parking right at the door to your room, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I needed a place to sleep for the night for work in the area and this location was perfect for what I was looking for. As mentioned this is an older motel that could use some renovation, but it was also one of the lowest nightly rates in town so I found it to be a good value for the money. If I find myself needing a room again in the Washington, NC area I would definitely stay here again.

I was disappointed in this hotel. I booked this hotel as a halfway point to break up a long drive, and I specifically booked it because it has a pool. We got there, and the pool was out of service. By the looks of it, it was not opened at all this summer, so it should not have been listed as having a pool. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere. The hotel room was subpar. The floor was peeling up in some spots, and the thing you turn to turn on the shower was missing the handle, so you had to turn a metal peg. When we got to the room, we had a few things to put in the refrigerator, but when I opened it, it was warm because the fridge wasn't even plugged in. The room was hot because it's July in the south, but thankfully it cooled down when I turned on the AC unit. The beds were comfy enough. We didn't bother with the free breakfast because it was just apple juice (the oj dispenser was broken), coffee, and waffles.
