We had a phone call a few days prior to ensure we understood the noone under 18 rule in bath house or pool . Which was fine as we had the room with hot tub anyway.
Our room was dated but they were in the process of refreshing rooms, new flooring and furniture was being unpacked as we departed.
We did have a fridge but no microwave .
But the tub was great. Perfect temp, and clean.

Stayed on a Wednesday night by myself and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. I had a long day and did not arrive until almost 7:00pm. I asked for a recommendation to a good restaurant in the area and was told to try Troutini's. What a FANTASTIC find !! The continental breakfast the following morning was great. The staff made sure the food selections were well stocked. I was in a bit of a hurry but I did enjoy my coffee and oatmeal.

And the sink is located in the bathroom so can’t get ready or use the sink while someone is in there.. has two TVs that is really nice when traveling with kids. I think it was great. No vending machines, killer idea. And what makes it great to is the staff. One lady in particular, young, had these long ears on like an elf cause it was Christmas Day. SHE ! Makes it great. Upbeat, friendly , informative. She’s a keeper.

The people at front desk were very nice and helpful. I loved the downstairs lobby/bar restaurant atmosphere as well. I utilized the workout room, and while it was functional I might try to dress it up a little bit. It might be nice to have some maps of Portland around too, so perhaps different neighborhoods can be circled/recommended?
