"I stayed overnight for my birthday. The staff from the maids to security to the front desk and bars were all super nice! Destiny at the Spa was da bomb! I had an amazing hand and food massage. I actually had a black light with me and I can tell you the room was pretty darn clean. The surfaces, the bathroom and bed were all spotless. However, if you look at the walls of your room with a black light, you might get a little scared. I had a great time!"

"We loved the charm of this hotel (and the town). They've managed to bring some modern amenities to an older building, preserving the feel of the original inn. They do a great job decorating for the season outside which invites you in through their unexpected automatic doors. Once there you can expect creaky, uneven floors, dim lighting, and a trip back in time. The 2nd floor offers a shared balcony for all guests to overlook the main road. To get there, take the central staircase if you're able to check out their framed items along the way. The room has all you need for a nice stay and the bed was comfortable. We were lucky to have a skylight equipped with an electronic shade! Go check out Jim Thorpe for the town, the train and the view, but complete the trip with a stay at The Inn at Jim Thorpe. You'll be happy you did."
