“We have always stayed in hotels when we have travelled to Portland in the past, but we have been curious about trying this guest house, and on our recent trip, we finally tried it. What a pleasant surprise! The room was very comfortable, the self-service kitchen was well stocked with various food items to feed the guests with cereals, fruit, coffee, juice, etc. It had the feel of staying in the guest room at a friend's house. Very sweet. We will stay there again the next time we visit Portland.”

“This was an amazing retreat for the weekend. Hospitality was off the charts and the breakfast was thoughtful and delicious. The property is breathtaking and close to everything we needed. We are basketball fans and the theatre room was an unexpected surprise that saw plenty of use for NCAA conference tournament games😁”

“The rooms were very nice, decor very pleasant, nice touches. The basement apt. has low ceilings and two beams that were very low. My husband is 6ft5 so this was a problem for him. The wifi signal was weak. However, the host was great, the place was spotless and it was obvious they cared about providing a cozy place to stay. I would recommend it, but not if you are over 6 ft tall.”

“The unit was very spacious for the three of us (adult son, parents) and the location to visit wineries is perfect. The kitchen is very well equipped (for example, in contrast to many other places where we have stayed you can actually cut something with the knives). We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Dundee.”

“I stayed here with a group of 8 women for a weekend getaway. The bathrooms are fabulous - I love the wall paper and one of the showers is practically a room!! I don’t know how easily it could sleep 10 adults as that would entail some couch sleepers or sharing a Full size bed. Overall it was great!!”

“I didn’t realize (probably my mistake)that we would be sharing a bathroom with one other room, but they have it so well organized and nice an clean that it wasn’t a problem at all. Everything here is Super eco friendly and the kitchen is amazing and there is food for all dietary needs. I would totally stay here again, although maybe get the room with its own bathroom”

“It’s an older house but it was very charming. The mattress in our room was comfortable. The amenities were plentiful as well. Also, the location is nice; there was plenty nearby to walk to. We would happily stay here again.”

“This really was a luxury B & B. We had the Wine Cellar suite & it had a super lounge & bedroom tastefully decorated with immaculate furnishings. We were met by Kevin the manager who made us immediately welcome & gave us directions for our bus into town. His breakfasts were to die for & set you up for the day ahead. The complementary wine was much appreciated. The location in a quiet suburb was superb.”

“Overall this was a very nice place but the one problem was the bed. It was way too soft and after 3 nights I had to put couch cushions on the floor to sleep the last 2 nights. My sore back recovered then but sleeping in my clothes on the floor was not part of the deal.”
