“Nice hotel”

“Exceptional stay , staff were delightful and very helpful & supportive. Breakfast & evening dinner were incredible , perfectly cooked eggs at breakie and fabulous quality of food for both supper and breakfast - definitely recommend. We had a balcony room which was beautiful , overlooking the cricket pitch and was thing horses and tractors come passed, love it.”

“I liked the character of the old property. The owners were lovely and gave me a warm welcome. I only planned a one night stay and was very happy with everything.”

“We arrived a little early but Sarah was very accommodating and personally showed us to our room (The Coleridge Room) and other facilities at the property. Our room was very clean and tidy. Our bed at home is large but the one in the room was VERY wide (and proved very comfortable)! The ensuite facilities were very good as were the toiletries provided. Tea/coffee-making facilities were provided. It was a very warm day and night when we visited and we much appreciated the pedestal fan in the……

“Clean room, with air conditioning, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the set Tuesday special menu meal which was very nice and the breakfast was good too. I will definitely stay there again.”

“Good location for strolling around Langport with its cafes,independent shops , gardens and river walks . The library is very close with an outdoors area . We had a room in the courtyard , good in the heatwave . Sometimes had to park further away in town car park ..still free ,though in autumn 2026 may have to pay . Staff helpful .”

“Lovely staff and a comfy bed saved this property from a less favorable review. It feels like a converted hospital where the interior designer ran out of money. But, it is LITERALLY opposite the station if you need to catch a train. And they have gorgeous looking cannoli. Good in a pinch.”

“Lovely place to stay off the beaten path… The only issue was that the hot water supply never reached what one might call hot… but on an incredibly warm weekend that wasn’t a problem and didn’t detract from our stay… A lovely quiet place to stay, breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the evening restaurant menu. The beer was excellent. Thankyou for an enjoyable stay.”

“The hotel is located at the high street and a supermarket is just at the opposite. It is very convenience. The hotel interior is quite old and has traffic noise at night.”
