"The motel is filled with Old Florida charm, which makes it a pleasure to experience. Our room was spacious, neat, and cool (to offset the muggy day!) The "borrow" options of beach towels and watersport gear was an added bonus!"

"We had originally booked 2 nights. We left early the following morning, even tho we'd paid already. Green algae/slime coating the primary window. The secondary window looked rough; as if it had been broken at some point and poorly replaced. The pillows were quite flimsy so bring your own from home. The comforter on the bed is super thick and heavy; just perfect for Vermont, but here in FL!!??? TOO HOT. Offer cotten blankets, please. I used only the thin sheet, which was uncomfortable and chilly so I barelyslept. We did not interact with the staff, other than to check in and out, which was normal. The breakfast was also disappointing, there was no attendant even tho it was 9 and supposed to be available until 10; it seemed they were just letting things run out. People were eating the hot food items available, and looked to be enjoying it. The coffee was good, and there were a variety of roasts. The juice was mostly flavored water. We did not visit the amenities, but the general location of this property is good, and very close to the islands."

"We have not been back to Sanibel since Ian, and we made a great choice staying here. Staff was very accommodating and welcoming. It has a nice little bar in swimming pool. Great deck chairs on the beach everything you could want Sanibel."

"Staff was nice,check in took entirely too long as there was only 1 staff member doing the check in. Room cleanliness by housekeeping could have been better but all in all not a terrible hotel."

"Room was clean and great location. We could walk anywhere on Fort Myers Beach to all the restaurants and hotspots. This hotel was hit by Ian. Looks like they remodeled it after Ian very quickly. And it shows in the rooms and they need to be looked at again. Scrape and repaint the ceilings , fix the drains in the bathroom sink and recalk the bathrooms. The pool area was great and inviting. The room was very big with a full kitchen, which was nice to have. "
