“We were here for a wedding. Everything ran like clockwork and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
One word of warning, if you have mobility issues make sure you are on a floor serviced by a lift”

“Great solo traveller experience. Room was as described, basic but perfect for an easy york stay. Clean facilities. Cleaners are abit loud in the morning. Good location with a bus route outside the entrance. Plenty of parking and good security. Will stay again.”

“I stayed 7 nights here, which by the sounds of it, is unusual. I get the impression that people normaly one or two night.
Very friendly staff and for the first two days, was reminded to contact them if I needed anything. After the first two days, I didn't see any staff members to ask, but there was a phone number provided to call. The reception area was never manned.
The rooms are reasonable for the price and was given a choice of two - room 2 or room 7. I chose room 7, as it was on the……

“Lovely hotel. Beautiful setting with an amazing view. The reviews we read before we stayed, said the staff were wonderful and friendly. Reviews often say this about hotels and we were just expecting the usual professional staff. However it must be said the staff were superb, stood out and had a major positive impact on our stay making it so enjoyable. The evening dinner very good. The breakfasts excellent. Definitely a place to stay.”
