Wonderful stay, hotel staff were ever so friendly and hotel facilities were very good. Nice neighbourhood right next to the Puente Colgante bridge and short walk to the local station to take the trai into Bilbao. So pleased with our stay here.

A very good option for a 4-star hotel in Bilbao right near old town. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Highlights include the enormous shower and his and her sinks in the bathroom. The front desk staff was great. We were in town for the eclipse, and they provided great tips on where to go to see the event, and details about the local weather and what to expect. Checking in and out was smooth, once we figured out where to park; there is a single spot out front that is okay for hotel guests to park short-term in an otherwise restricted area. There is a Michelin-star restaurant on the top floor where we dined on the second night. The service was excellent and the price fix menu was very good; I thought the starters were much better than the entrees though. The only real disappointment was the breakfast buffet, which we paid for in advance. The selection was not great, especially with the fruit. The scrambled eggs were incredibly dry the first day, and only slightly better the next. You can special order a few items; I ordered the eggs Benedict on day two and it never came, so I just left instead of trying to order it again. Also, I tried to change the time of our dinner reservation on the second night due to the eclipse. The buffet manager said she made the change, but when we came back for dinner, our name was not even on the reservation list. Fortunately, we were able to be seated anyway. Overall, very good stay but skip the buffet.

Very modern looking hotel. Clean room. Great on site restaurante for dinner. Complimentary toiletries. Also paid parking available in a public garage with direct access to hotel.

Lovely hotel on the centre of Bilbao, close to some great bars and restaurants. Bit inconvenient that you need to book the gym usage the day before.

Great location, Great stay

This apartment was weird, uncomfortable and unattractive. There were no functional doors other than the bathroom — just curtains separating the bedrooms. The furniture was unattractive, old, uncomfortable, didn’t feel fresh. The second sleeping space was photographed as a bedroom area but the bed was an old, uncomfortable pull out sleeper sofa with a bad mattress. There were signs of mold in the bathroom and you couldn’t open the bathroom door all the way — it would get stuck on the floor. The apartment was dark and on a busy, loud street with construction barricading the sliding glass door and balcony.
