The parking garage was very narrow and difficult to enter/exit I damsged my car on the high curbs when exiting and caught the bottom of my car on the ramp when enterig and exiting

Major road works out the front so be prepared to walk 150metres from where the taxi drops you off.. nice room & staff spoke English & very helpful

The property was clean and nicely located. The parking garage was directly linked to the hotel by an elevator. Very convenient. The street in front of the hotel is completely dug up. A giant eyesore. No coffee in room. There was a stocked refrigerator. The bathroom and the room were small and simple. All for a rather elevated price.

Had an absolute blast staying at this wonderful hotel. 1 minute walk from Abando Metro Station and just around the corner from a street full of Pintxos/Tapas Bars. 10-12 minute walk from the Famous Guggenheim Museum to the Northwest, and roughly the same distance to Casco Viejo (Old Town) to the East across the river. There's a 24h shop just 2 minutes away. Staff are super helpful and caring. Cleaning is carried out daily and the breakfast buffet is spoiled for choice. Room service is available until 22:30. You are provided with a mini fridge as well as a shaving kit and a toothbrush and paste, The bar prices however make no sense since you can have the same for less just a minute walk away. But overall I had a fantastic time! Highly recommend!

Good location by train station but slightly far from old town. Everything was fine and pleasant.

This hotel is genuinely quite exquisite. One of the most beautiful I have visited in over thirty years of world travel. The actual setting, experienced amidst the Autumn hues, is genuinely stunning. The walk around the lake was a moment of peaceful heaven each morning and evening, the grounds are immaculate, and there are incredible views from all areas of the restaurant and bar, and the rooms are very pretty, with spacious bathrooms, some with small gardens and others even floating out in the lake with access by boat. Wonderful, attentive staff, a personal favourite was the Concierge, I believe his name was Sylvain? His assistance in helping me navigate the local area via public transport was much appreciated. Small details like names of stops and information regarding places to visit were invaluable, and his bright, friendly company was also such a pleasant addition to the day. A very accomplished restaurant serving excellent meals all throughout the day and the breakfast was quite superb. As you can tell, I very much enjoyed my stay here and would love to return in the Springtime. Easy access to local beaches, Bayonne, Biarritz and St Jean de Luz also.
