Weekend getaways in Big Sur

This hotel is very expensive by anyones standards. It is some, but not an impossible distance from other towms. That being said, it is located with a view of the most beautiful scenery along California`s coast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cottage was amazing and very appropriate for a 4-person family. So much better than a hotel room! My daughters did not want to leave and are already asking when we can go back. Breakfast and snacks available made the mornings and afternoon munchies very easy. Great selection of DVD's. We will be making this our annual vacation place for sure!

Wow , I was blown away but this resort. From views, to friendly and helpful staff, to cleanliness of the room. Had massage as well and absolutely loved it. The gourmet meals were so delicious and to my surprise they were all included in your stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are looking for a quiet romantic getaway this place is a must! I will definitely come back. I don’t usually write reviews but i was so impressed buy this hotel. Every detail was taught through. Loved it ♥️

Beautiful location and the space is quaint. The cabins are so cozy, and there are several beautiful spots to see the sunrise, sunset and all the stars. Dreamy space, and close to several trails.

I can’t think of any negatives to Sand Pebbles Inn. The staff was great, the view was amazing, the room was fantastic and the town of Cambria is a gem. What a fantastic stay!

Excellent stay; would do it again with family

Recently stayed at the Rigdon House with my family for my daughter’s birthday she wanted to see the Hearst castle, we decided to stay in Cambria. What’s not to love about the Rigdon House- the facility is clean , comforting and the staff is warm and friendly. It’s walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town , there are porcelain tea cups for you to make tea, coffee, cocoa and hot cider in it and happy hour goes on every night. Wonderful weekend stay on the coast. Very friendly family owned inn. Rooms recently renovated, very comfortable beds, fridge, microwave. Daily continental breakfast delivered in a picnic basket to your room. Afternoon cheese and crackers, fresh brownies at 6 pm. Pet friendly, good choice of free DVDs to watch. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Loved the outdoor fireplace; even though it's public, it's built for privacy. Loved being able to walk to the main street shopping and the beach. I will stay here again.

We’ve been here before and really like the place. The only thing I would change is the shampoo and conditioner, they left my hair a tangled mess.
