Weekend getaways in Carson City

Room was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. Customer service was excellent. The ease of the PIN code for the door and the text updates were helpful. Highly recommend and would stay here again!!!

Some stuff like breakfast wasn't very good and they run out so fast of food and dishes and stuff my tv never work but overall was fine all clean an cozy..friendly staff.

We needed a place to stay for the night where we could park our truck and RV safely while getting a good night’s rest and a meal. This place checked all of the boxes for us, including accommodations for the smoker so he didn’t have to keep meandering through the halls to get outside to smoke. So rare these days to find a hotel that still has any dedicated smoking rooms! Desk staff was friendly and efficient at check-in and we found our room easily with her specific instructions. PET FRIENDLY!!!! Due to our cat being recently diagnosed with diabetes, we have to take her everywhere we go now and discovered The Sugarloaf is actually pet friendly. It was our first time staying here however we felt like we have known them for years. The owners were so welcoming and caring and we got to meet the team member that has been there the longest not to mention the cutest, a kitty named Smokey and she was absolutely amazing. The Hotel had a warm feel about it and close enough to walk to the downtown area. They have an indoor pool/hot tub and a bar downstairs. Was a fun place to stay.

So many things to do here. Too bad their beach wasn’t accessible when we visited but they had other private beaches we could use. Staff was to notch. We aren’t fans of the casino but it was nicely separated. Great location with so many great activities & restaurants within walking distance.

We had an amazing stay! Hotel was fantastic! New, clean, perfect. Staff were great. The lady that checked us in on day was was so fast and friendly. The gentleman in the evening was so helpful and quick to help with anything we needed. We used the bbq grills almost every night! What a great space to cook and sit by the gas fire pits to relax. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. I literally can’t say enough good things about this hotel and the staff.

This is a wonderful place and takes dogs. We have a smaller rescue who we never leave alone because she has abandonment fears. We take her everywhere and this is a real treat to be in such a lovely hotel.

We stayed here for 1 night, after skiing in Kirkwood. Loved the hotel. The rooms are super spacious and eveything was to our liking. Will defn stay here again rather than south lake tahoe while skiing in Kirkwood.

The casino allows smoking. At times I could smell the cigarette smoke even inside my room.

Asked for a handicap room. The room was nice and clean. The walk in shower was nice but needed a removable shower head to reach the shower chair.

The staff were kind, helpful and truly on top of things. I was in the valley the weekend of the Genoa cowboy festival and it was just a hop, skip and a jump down the road. It's close to shops and convenience stores, for those just-in-case items! The best Mexican food place in the town, Francisco's, is less than a mile north along the highway. It was just a lovely time!

This is a hotel with a casino in it. My son wanted to play casino games before a day of snowboarding. It was clean and recently updated bathroom. Very comfortable beds. The only thing that I didn’t care for was the dimly lit room. There were canned ceiling lights that had covers more appropriate for aiming at hung pictures. There was only one table lamp with a black shade. One of the two bathroom mirror’s lights weren’t working. For one night it was ok but very overpriced.

I was not expecting this place to be this nice the pictures don’t do it justice. I had a great stay felt like I was home away from home. The staff was polite and helpful. The room was clean.

This is the cleanest and nicest Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed in!! I am so impressed with the amenities that this motel has that other upper tier Hotels in this area can’t compare to. I’ll be staying here frequently and enjoying the beautiful pool while it’s hot outside!!

I loved my room. It had a balcony, which let in a lot of light & a cool fresh breeze. I like that the room had it's own a/c unit that i could control because the overall temp in the place was HOT! My room was very clean, equipped with many amenities & a comfortable king size bed. The tv came with HBO & Cinemax, which was nice.
