Slaley Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort
Great hotel and very friendly staff. Delicious salmon for dinner and breakfast was great. The room was very comfortable and big. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, which in my case was good, because that is what we were looking for.

The Beaumont Hotel
Room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. Large,modern bathroom with both bathtub and walk in shower. Food was excellent and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is in a great location in town centre.

The George Hotel
I booked a superior room which was very comfortable and clean. We overlooked the river and had a double aspect room (317). Staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to see that we were happy.

Hygge at Vallum
We had a brilliant stay at the Hygge, it is tucked in the corner surrounded by open countryside, just beautiful. The quietness was appreciated and lovely. pretty much as you see on the pictures(which is rare) all lovely would definitely revisit and communication was spot on. downside which is very minimal, no way to light fire pit or log burner unless u take something with you (as all none smokers we didnt av a lighter but our rechargeable lighter ...
