Historic hotel with very nice and helpful staff. Great little cafe where you can get a good cup of coffee and breakfast sandwich to go. Great location also on Anchorage. We had a huge suite and didn’t arrive until after midnight but front desk folks were super helpful.

The Staff was great, the resort is dated, and the Spa needs updating. Overall it was fine because you don’t have many choices however I would have expected room service to be available and for the bathrooms to be a little more elevated for the price.

The hotel is excellent, and the staff is outstanding. They were able to get our group of six rooms all on the same floor right next to one another that was utterly fantastic. They are very cordial and work with us extremely well, especially the fact that we’re extremely loud and obnoxious.

This is an older hotel and can use updating. The toilets are also too low and I suspect the elderly would have difficulty using them. It is conveniently located in downtown Anchorage. We stayed one night before our cruise the next day. It is overpriced for what you get and I would suggest staying elsewhere that is a mainstream brand that is likely more updated and better priced.

I would totally recommend staying here for a romantic evening. Room was very quiet and comfortable, Dinner at the crows nest was Amazing, followed by a few cocktails at fletchers. We had an excellent breakfast the following morning before checking out. It was a great experience and will definitely go again.

We are from Florida and Hotel Captain Cook really stood out for us. We arrived later in day, wonderful staff checked us in, and then we headed to the rooftop restaurant for an appetizer and drink. Highly recommend this hotel for comfort and a cozy experience.
