"When we arrived my husband and I were shocked as there was no parking at the hotel. We had to pay to unload and then had a five minute walk from the hotel to the car park. It is totally unsatisfactory that elderly people have to carry their luggage to and from a car such a distance from the hotel. There were no porters and no help within the hotel for the few steps we had to negotiate on the way to the room. The room smelt as if someone had been smoking in it and it was very cold and the heating...

A pleasant stay but a bit noisy
"A pleasant stay, nice pool and clean facilities. The gentleman on reception kindly secured us a room without people staying above us as I had seen in the reviews noise can be a real issue in the hotel. The corridors were extremely loud at night, people loudly coming back from the bar. We were woken a few times. We couldn't get dinner at the hotel. We were advised dinner was being served all afternoon until 8.30pm but when we returned to eat, we were told they couldn't take our order until 6pm. My son was hungry at 5pm so we ordered a takeaway and had it delivered to the hotel from a local place. The breakfast at the hotel was OK. Parking was excellent. "
