Close to Stonehenge and Woodhenge. Historical property due for a new refit. No breakfast service on our visit. Poorly set up rooms. Crowded public areas. Food good. No cancellation policy an issue when our travel plans changed.
Great value for the price. The staff is excellent. Clean quiet room with everything you’d need. The breakfast was a great way to start the day, it was more than I expected.
The property was excellent and spotlessly throughout. There was more than enough room for 4 adults comfortably. Everything was there when we arrived, down to 2 buns. Hopefully if in the area again would definitely stay and would highly recommend this property.
It was a nice kind of historic inn. Had a lot of character. That being said it was pretty old and the actual room small. Walls were also very thin and could hear the next door neighbors conversations as well as outside.
I loved the location - 2 min from Stonehenge and very peaceful area
Lovely old fashioned building, sadly quite neglected. Kids thought it was fawlty towers. I would stay here again.
Very convenient hotel a short drive from Porton Down. The rooms are clean and comfortable with good sound insulation from the road. Stand out feature of this hotel is the restaurant which is a major surprise for a chain hotel. The chef produces high quality innovative dishes which are also good value, ...
The lady in reception and nice and friendly. Great breakfast. There is a bar there although I didn't go, Rooms are small but nice and clean.
