As it turned out, the place was in an older shabby neighborhood, tucked behind another property, next to a vacant what look gutted abandoned home. Too bad can't upload pictures. The neighborhood is in an industrial type of area with used car dealerships, repair garages and other similar businesses. “The rental is furnished beautifully as shown in the pictures and was very clean. Great location as well. Owner was easy to work with as well. Would stay here again. Only recommendation is to update the deposit policy to be in line with other VRBO rentals we have rented from before. The only option with this rental is to pay the non-refundable damage deposit or pay a very large deposit which is refundable 2 weeks after check out. Wish there was a 3rd option where they just hold your credit card...

“We had a terrible experience and I was very generous with giving them one star. I would have given them no stars, but that was not an option. The door was completely open when we arrived. The thermostat read 91 degrees and the air conditioner was not working. When I called the property owner that said they were sending someone over to repair it. They did but I was not hopeful it would be repaired. I was assured that it would be fixed and I did not need to look for another place to stay. I...

“A very quaint cottage like property with a nice outdoor sitting area. Peaceful and quiet. It is quite small and makes you organize and compact your things into a small space, but it has everything needed and I was comfortable staying there for a week. (Probably not enough room if more than two people and two people is pushing the space). The neighborhood is very nice as well. Old NE with cobblestone streets. It is walkable to the beaches, parks, downtown and Snell Isle. ”
