"Location is good- 1.7M to Hyde park. River view couldn't be seen through cloudy nasty film on sliders, sliders stuck and not working properly. Listen to bells chime at church all night long on the hour. Under construction so currently noisy. Room okay but has been worn hard. Fridge and safe helpful. "

"The breakfast was good. The staff people that was serving the breakfast were tentative. The breakfast was fresh. You can tell that the rooms, where our room specifically it needs some remodeling the doors were older, even the outside of the hotel. The sheets were clean, however we ran out of shower gel, which actually was not stocked at all, but the staff people came and were attentive to that. Our bathroom, the floors still had hairs on the floors. If you need somewhere to stay for a weekend, honestly it’s not bad, but a lot of work can be done. Also, in the toilet seat area, it was some hairs. Again the sheets and the pillows were all cleaned and the staff people were very nice and attentive."

"We did not use the facilities of this "resort", so I will not comment on them. We had to kick the door to get it open, every time we entered, it was so stuck that pushing didn't work. I took a shower and the water continually cycled from way too cold, to almost too hot to bear. Since I had to wash my hair I had to endure 4 such cycles until I was done. The walkway that runs along the doors to each room is paved with tiles. Many of the tiles are loose and therefore loudly click when someone walks or drags a suitcase over them. These clicks are easily heard in the room. We are 82 years old and had a room on the 2nd floor. There is only one elevator at the resort and it was nowhere near our room. Our room was between 2 staircases, but we are unable to walk up stairs. We had to park in valet parking (they did not charge us the $5/day more to park in valet over the $10/day that everyone has to pay). Valet parking is near check-in, where the elevator is located. You would not believe the sound produced when the elevator opened and closed. Each time we wondered if we would make it to our floor. I was never so happy to checkout of a hotel. Calling SkyBeach a hotel is a stretch, it's more like a 1940s motel."

"Food choices on the menus overall were mediocre at best. Service was unsteady. Room was only serviced on time during our4 night stay. Pool are is nice, great views. Restaurant should be upgraded to match the location. Parking expensive.."
