Breakfast is basic, but hot. Would have liked some fruit. Staff is exceptionally nice / friendly / helpful. Price is fair. I have no complaints. Will stay again.

This was my family’s first stay at the Bella Vista. We were pleasantly surprised. It was a charming hotel with great amenities. It seemed like it was a refurbished older hotel so if you looked beyond the bling, you could tell it was an older lady. But for the price, it was excellent! I gave it only four stars because there definitely needs to be some upgrades to the carpet in the hallways. And a few other maintenance things that could be upgraded. I do wish there was an ice machine on our floor because going down to the first floor was not always practical. The hotel rooms themselves had vinyl flooring, which was fantastic! No carpets and I truly wish other hotels would follow suit. Overall, a good stay and we will definitely look into this hotel when we plan our next trip back to Lynchburg. Oh, and the breakfast was very nice as well. No complaints.

Harmony Hill was a great place to spend a quiet night after exploring the area. It was very clean, and the hosts Mary and Bill were kind and attentive. Breakfast was abundant and well prepared, and my husband's dietary needs were well attended to. We enjoyed!

Could not get the coffee pot to work, the bathtub did not drain well while taking a shower, appeared to be dog hair on the sitting chair. Telephone in the room wasn’t working until the following morning. Breakfast did not look very appetizing so we skipped it. Did not report any of this while we were there. Staff was very courteous, friendly and accommodating upon checking in and checking out.
