What a wonderful, quaint, little gem! Everything worked as it should and was very clean. The staff was friendly and always around if you needed anything. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful amenity. We booked a whirlpool suite and it was spacious, clean, and very well equipped. It was wonderful to have plenty of towels for the jacuzzi and shower. The lay out of the room was nice and having a small table and chairs to eat in the room was a great addition. The location was close to shopping, restaurants, and Lake Michigan. We will definitely be returning!

Staff was wonderful and very responsive in answering text and instructions. They provided a space in the garage to secure our e bikes which was appreciated especially since it rained. The room we stayed in was small but comfortable. It was decorated nicely but needed some attention to the plaster that was cracking. It is an old home so that is going to happen. Our only complaint was the shower. It was tiny! Smaller than an RV shower. The tiny shelf barely held anything. My one recommendation is get smaller bottles of shampoo, conditioner and soap so all three fit on the ledge. Breakfast was delicious and there were snacks available all the time which was a nice touch. We had assigned seating at breakfast and would have preferred to choose who we sat with as we like the experience of meeting new people. Unfortunately, our first morning we sat alone and the second morning the gentleman was a business man that was rushing to leave and not very social. We did enjoy our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

This is a lovely old hotel with a lot of charm.
