Seems that they cater to fisherman, who can dock in there marina. As a result, the property was quiet. When we travel we look for places like this so we can travel about.

"We've stayed at Two Lakes Lodge 5 years and love the place and setting. It's well- equipped and our 1o adults and 11 kids fit well. It would be great to have another bathroom and, occasionally, a/c. but overall, it's a great place to gather and spend the week"

"Kevin and Tonya have created a very special motel. Kevin is on the local tourism board and knowledgeable about the area. Both are nice and welcoming. The rooms are clean and don't break the bank. Convenient location. They offer locally-roasted coffee in the morning or a nice selection of tea and have a nice partnership with a local restaurant nearby for breakfast (large portions and delicious). I stayed here on a work trip, but would come back with family. This place reminded me of why family run motels were so popular for a time.. and would be again if they were all run like this. I definitely encourage you to support this great locally-owned business. "

"We had the best time at this cute cabin on Lake Michigan for the 4th of July week. The place itself is exactly how it’s described and is a perfect location for a beach vacation. We did zero day trips (grew up on lake MI and have been to almost every place on the west side, if you have not, then it’s a perfect place for day trips). The neighbors were fantastic, very friendly which is great because the houses are close. We will definitely be back. It was exactly what we were looking for on a relaxed vacation. Very clean, full of books (good ones too!), games and the kitchen was well stocked with what you need to cook. "

"We had a nice time there. The house is very nice. We hung out after an exhausting day in the living room and relaxed. Very comfy sofas. Everyone slelp well in the bedrooms. Mark, the host, responded to my questions quickly. I would recommend staying. The neighborhood was also cute and a great area to go for a walk."
