"The pictures of the property were accurate. Beds large and comfortable. However, the host did not answer his phone the few times I called. I had to call the help line for assistance and information on how to enter the property. The Host lived in the first-floor unit. He seemed confused when we arrived however, we arrived 30 minutes early. Two days before we were leaving the owner of the unit called demanding that I ask the Host to pay him money owed for our renting the unit. I called customer...

"This property is in a great location, Chelsea. It is loud because it is on a busy street and neighbors above, but overall as expected. Check in procedures could be a bit easier and better communicated. Convenient to Subway at 23rd and 8th Ave, can pretty much get anywhere. Good restaurants nearby, easy walk to Chelsea Market and Meatpacking district. "

The location was perfect - within walking distance to the West Village, Meatpacking District, and tons of great restaurants, shops, and galleries. It’s a vibrant, safe area with everything you need close by. The apartment was compact, but well kept - neat & clean. It was comfortable and had everything we needed for a 4-day stay in the city. "I didn’t catch the name of the person who checked us in (he’s been there 18 years), but he was a terrific introduction to the hotel — friendly, open, and offering all the best of New York. The room was clean, and it is sooooo close to so many theaters, the Morgan Library, Bryant Park and the New York Public Library. Will stay here again. "
