The room need updating and a spring hot steam clean , this is not a 4 star as rated as advertised the facilities jacuzzi hardly works the steam room stinks the sauna is the only space I think is better this hotel needs updating refurbishment and a paint , the staff are really friendly bless them they given hard task to deal with .

Location was good, hotel is very old, tacky, staff at front desk are good but can’t do much and when you ask to speak to the manager, he doesn’t come out on purpose and didn’t even show up the next day. Rooms are very old, no iron and blow dryer in the room. Terrible stay, no AC, the guy at the swimming pool entrance was unhelpful. Not a 4 star hotel, there are 2 star hotels better than this.

The facilities were good, staff friendly and welcoming. Didnt use the Spa or pool but looked through the window and it appeared very nice. Cooked breakfast was good, fresh fruit was a bit limited but there was plenty of cereal, pastries and bread.

As soon as you walk in there’s a pungent smell.it smells dirty & damp. All the fixtures, fittings, carpets etc are very dated and badly worn. The whole interior could use a big makeover. I stayed in the Ambassador suite. The main light didn’t work. The furniture was worn & outdated / looked chap. The window didn’t open and it had condensation. The bed sunk in like a Hammock. It’s clearly very worn out & old. No plug sockets by the beds. No table lamp at the desk. This hotel more resembles a young persons refuge or halfway house. Certainly not luxurious at all. The best bit was the bathroom, which was clean & bright. Certainly won’t return. However - I will say all the staff were really kind, friendly & helpful.

Room was barely clean whilst half lights not working. Rails to stairs hadn’t been cleaned in ages and covered in grime. At busy times the bar staff were useless more intent on chatting than helping out else where. Food was ok but the breakfast was about the worst I’d had anywhere. On one good note the chap on night duty was really helpful.
