Owners clearly had a lot of fun decorating, but what really stood out was the many touches that made the stay so easy and comfortable: wide variety of coffees and teas; plenty of ice; mosquito netting over the outside lounger; a kitchen that was as well-appointed as my own; a dog bowl (we don't have a dog, but how nice anyway!); and, what I thought was really sweet, a little basket under the bathroom sink that had soft socks to pad around in if you needed them! “This is an absolutely lovely place to stay. The views of the river are so soothing, and the neighborhood deliciously quiet. The owners were responsive & helpful when we ran into an internet problem. Kitchen is minimal but I didn't go there to cook ;-) We had fun exploring the nearby towns (Bath and Washington) and the wildlife reserves, but the best part was just sitting on the deck and breathing.”
