"Super 8 Carroll has a freshen look and surroundings. Room was spacious, offered both Direct TV & Roku. Area had a major snowstorm during our visit. Room microwave/refrig made it possible to have meals in our room and avoid getting out in the storm. Beds were good quality. Great pressure in shower. Management worked hard to clear parking lot and made us feel welcome. Offered a varied breakfast and anytime hot cocoa ..lots of attention to small & big details. Will definitely stay when in the area. "

We rode the Raccoon River and High Trestle bike trails and they were able to provide a secure spot for our e-bikes. If you like to golf, looked like a nice 27 hole course. "The farm house was very rural and isolated, perfect for some relaxing away from it all. The kitchen was not stocked very well, so consider bringing what you need if you are planning on cooking most meals there. The microwave didn't work either. The house has some insects/bugs/spiders, not unexpected with an old farmhouse in the fall. The AC worked better than expected given the unseasonably warm temperatures! Overall, we had a pleasant stay."
